Comptroller Kayode Kolade Emerges Best Border Trade Facilitator At CGC Award Night

The Customs Area Controller of Seme Customs Command of Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Kayode Kolade, has been recognized and honoured for being the best in Border Trade Facilitation at the CGC Award Night, held on Friday November 29, 2024 in Abuja.
Comptroller Kayode Kolade was celebrated by colleagues, friends and stakeholders at the award ceremony.
The Award was presented to him by the Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, who recognized him for his various achievements and efforts to ensure best border trade facilitation.
Comptroller Kayode Kolade expressed his profound appreciation to the Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, for the support given to him. He sees the award as a privilege and added responsibility to ensure production and confidence reposed on him by customs management. He believes that trade facilitation is the bottom line of modern customs and should be made to hand in hand with revenue generation.
He attributed the success recorded to the officers and men of the command. The observers described him as a man of great reputation who first sets a good example for others to follow.
Stakeholders who feels satisfied about his conduct say he deserves to be commended for his selflessness and urged officers in order command to emulate his kind gesture.
Besides, other stakeholders can attest to the fact that he is concerned about creating and sustaining excellence in trade facilitation and increase revenue generation.
