Comptroller Gambo Aliyu Seeks Stronger Partnerships With DSS, FRSC In Oyo State
The Customs Area Controller of Oyo/Osun Command, Comptroller Gambo Aliyu, has sought for close cooperation with the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Oyo State.
He noted that inter-agency collaboration is essential for national security and public safety.
A statement signed and released by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Customs I, Akintola Abdulmalik, said Comptroller Aliyu and his management team paid official visits to both agencies’ offices in Ibadan.
The State Director of DSS, Rahim Adelakun, who received Comptroller Aliyu, praised the agency’s tireless efforts to protect lives and property, while highlighting its key role in maintaining peace, stability, and socio-economic development.
Similarly, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Aliyu, who visited the FRSC Headquarters, was welcomed by Sector Commander Corps, Commander Rosemary Alo.
During the visit, Comptroller Aliyu commended the Corps for its strong enforcement of road safety laws and public education, stating that their efforts have significantly reduced road accidents in the state.
Comptroller Aliyu is quoted as stating that: “No government agency can work effectively alone. Continuous mutual support and inter-agency synergy are the pillars of national advancement”.

At the end of the visit, both DSS and FRSC leadership expressed their commitment to deepening collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service, to promote the nation’s welfare.
