KLT Area Command Records N147.2 billion Revenue In 2025
The Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Area Command has recorded an outstanding revenue of N147, 216, 149, 033.81 in 2025, as against revenue target of N109, 442, 892, 919.86, with a significant increase compared with the same period in 2024, which stood at N107,182,674,904.00, with the difference of
N40, 33, 474,129.81, representing a 35 percent growth, which clearly demonstrating the command’s improved revenue drive, enhanced enforcement strategies, and increased compliance among stakeholders.
Besides, the command remains steadfast in facilitating legitimate trade, while decisively enforcing customs laws. Stakeholders and the general public are assured that the command will continue to block revenue leakages, combat illegal importation, and support national health and security objectives throughout the year.
The Acting Customs Area Controller of KLT Area Command, Deputy Comptroller BL Adigun acknowledged and appreciated the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, and his management team for their leadership, encouragement, and for creating the enabling environment that empowers us to deliver on our mandate.
He also extended his commendation to the officers and men of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Area Command for their dedication and upright conduct in combating smuggling and other unlawful trade activities. He encouraged them to sustain this level of professionalism and to consistently observe the rules of engagement in the execution of their statutory duties.
