Comptroller Aliyu Expresses Commitment For Strong Partnership With British American Tobacco Nigeria
The Customs Area Controller of Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Gambo Aliyu, has reaffirmed the agency’s strong partnership with British American Tobacco Nigeria (BATN), during a recent visit to the company’s premises on October 15, 2025.
Commenting on British American Tobacco Nigeria BATN’s commitment to complying with trade regulations, Comptroller Gambo Aliyu commended the company for its high operational standards and its key role in driving growth within Nigeria’s tobacco industry.
He expressed BATN’s contributions to boosting national revenue, creating jobs, and supporting industrial development.
He noted that maintaining a mutual working relationship between the NCS and BATN is vital for achieving shared economic and regulatory goals.
The BATN’s Director of Operations, Hasnain Ishtiaq, expressed gratitude for the visit and praised the Customs Service for enabling smooth and lawful trade operations.
He underscored BATN’s dedication for compliant with regulations and fostering a collaborative partnership to moving forward.
